Words Mean Something Words Mean Everything

This definition guide to the King James Bible is twofold. The first is to be a guide in word definitions for the reader of the King James Version Bible. The second is to encourage the reading of the Bible and to foster the study of God’s Word. A foremost thought and even warning is that this is a guide only. God’s Word always takes precedence and is the only and final authority of the meaning or intent of a word. It is the word in the text and the word in context wherein lies the true definition. No lexicon or dictionary can supercede God’s word and his meaning. God’s Word is best understood through prayer from a contrite heart and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. My prayer is you will be affirmed in the knowledge that God’s word is pure and truth. It can always be trusted. God’s Word does not change. It can be understood by anyone. God's word guides us and is eternal and it provides us with a wonderful assurance and hope.
