Writers are a strange bunch. One the one hand they can create wonderful magical worlds, but on the other hand their own lives can be as bad as some of the characters they write about in some of their books. At least, that is how some writers are. But you don't have to join them. Still, your life might be hitting the rocks already. And really, you could do no worse than do some creative writing to give yourself the lift you need. Indeed, doing something creative should make anyone feel better even if they was nothing wrong with their lives to start with. You can use writing and your computer word processor to live a better, happier life.
The book talks about the software and how to use it to make writing quicker and easier for the same results. Also, the book has advice on computer viruses as well as it talks about how computers are sometimes machines that can produce an industrial output of writing. A large output means you have problems coping with it. The book gives some answers about how to manage your work if you find you can produce more than you ever thought possible. It is your writing, your life you write about, and you who gets the benefits or the therapy from writing. It is therapy only in one way as everyone would enjoy the creativity of writing no matter how they felt. But it is particularly good if you feel low or things get you down.
