Erica was getting dressed for a night out on the town. She had no idea what that night would bring and she really did not care at that moment. Mitch had upset her beyond belief earlier that day. Mitch Dropped a bomb shell on her that he had been having a relationship with her best friend, Stephanie. She had not even spoken to either of them since Mitch came clean. Erica found lipstick on his underwear when she was doing laundry and confronted him why there was the wrong color of lipstick there.
She called Brian, Mitch's best friend and he invited her out to dinner to discuss what he knew. This told Erica that Brian must have known for a while that Mitch was cheating. She just wanted to get some sort of truth, or piece together where everything went wrong. She knew she would not get the answers from Stephanie or Mitch.
Looking in the mirror she applied her make up and bright red lipstick. She had put on thigh highs 4 inch stilettos to feel better. Under her dress she wore a black silk teddy because she loved the feel of it against her skin. Her ebony hair fell to her waist. As she looked in the mirror and saw her crystal blue eyes looking back at her, she had second thoughts about meeting Brian. She knew what might happen only because there had been sparks between her and Brian prior to Mitch.
Brian actually had introduced her and Mitch at a party. Brian and Erica had met at her work. He was a client for the lawyer she worked for. Brian was about 6'3", blonde hair, emerald green eyes, and looked like he was a model for a magazine. He was a lawyer himself and was looking to merge his company with the one she worked for. Eventually the merger went through and she was the secretary that sat in the meetings.
