Sometimes happiness is right there for the taking and other times it is elusive and slips out of our grasp. Whether we realize it or not we are all on a journey to attain happiness in this life. Some journeys may take longer than others; some may lead to dead-ends while others lead to happiness very quickly.

In putting this book together I read many studies, sifted through differing thoughts and gathered some of my own anecdotes to piece together some common themes when it comes to finding happiness. What I found was there are common elements to being happy, but it also became very clear that there is no clear cut path that will lead to happiness for everybody. What will make me happy may not be the same for you, and that is okay.

In this book I present multiple basic foundations of being happy. Some of the ideas will be familiar while others may be a bit more abstract.  The beauty of this book is that you don't have to do everything within it's pages to achieve happiness you simply have to read it, experiment on its word and decide what is right for you. So what are you waiting for? It is time to turn to page one and start your journey toward finding happiness!
