But not only challenges arise from this uncertain environment, also opportunities and competitive advantages could be created for firms of which their employees for example, learn and adapt faster than their competitors. Therefore, a growing number of firms try changing towards a learning organization. This article provides the integration of different theoretical models of organizational learning by giving an extensive overview of processes inside a learning organization. In doing so, I differentiate between individual, team and organizational level and pay attention to important influencing factors. The role of management is exemplified at each level.
