A brief preface of intent is followed by four poems: Harmonica, Sans Harmonica Wonder, Buried Harmonica and Lilacs. Each poem is followed by some commentary. The work is largely a failure in producing drama free poetry. Lilacs comes closest and I stopped there so as not to push my luck. Harmonica sings the charms of harmonicas. Sans Harmonica Wonder highlights how certain music men were purified by the harmonica's influence. Buried Harmonica is a tale of ambition loosely based on the life of Sam Shepard.
