However many millions of people hope for good outcomes, it is still only hope. What's the difference between hope and illusions? I used to believe that if a person loses their hope, they will also lose their mind; I'm not so sure anymore. I think that destroying false hopes is the only thing resembling an answer to life's challenges.
We live in a world with too many choices to harm ourselves and others, and not enough reward for the truly good choices we can make. Bending to the laws of nature, our days on this world seem to be numbered. Maybe rebellious colonists on Mars will see an uncrowded world where sanity can prevail, and keep it uncrowded. It would be good for them to do so, and it would be instructive to people here on earth how careful the free truly are in not squandering their opportunities by profiting from the suffering of each other. Six poems.
