After 17 years of marriage, my wife and I were expecting our first child. Why wait so long? I wish I knew. Conception was apparently not in the cards or whatever. What ultimately led to this miraculous event is anyone's guess. However, the fact I was in the best shape in years probably had something to do with it.
I had lost weight because my wife had lost a significant amount of pounds and I was doing it to support her.
She was on a diet that I would not attempt.
It was called a metabolic reboot diet. It involved her eating about 500 calories a day with portions of meat and vegetables you need a microscope to see. Don't get me wrong...it worked!
She lost significant pounds... about thirty or so. But again not for me.
When she discovered she was with child, she obviously had to abandon this diet. She began her regiment of prenatal vitamins and other assorted things needed when a baby is in the future.
Back to me, I decided to lose the forty pounds...I had done it before; just about 5 years ago. It was EASY! Once I had made the decision to do so, I just did it.
So this book is not going to be filled with a bunch of theory.
This is how exactly I lost about forty pounds twice and how I am on my way back to my svelte 228.
I will share with you my methodology and my ideas.
It will be up to you to implement these ideas into what will work for you. But I know one thing...This works with or without working out for hours on end at the gym and I didn't starve.
