When you don’t know nor understand things that are being said or done around you and it begins to trouble and worry you to the point that you can’t let go, when you feel that you have to do something about it until you are given the answer. God truly hears and is ready to respond when you call out to Him. Whether your faith is new or mature, God listens and will bring comfort and reassurance as you talk to God and listen in an intimate, life-changing way. As a little child, I’ve heard, seen movies of priests, seen a few priest but never knew anything about a priest or the priesthood until I read about Aaron the priest, Moses’s brother in the Bible. I needed to know why he was a priest, and where did it came from? I was amazed when I learned it was because of sin.

The cause and effect of sin that led me to investigate the priesthood from Aaron to Jesus Christ the final priest is in Genesis, chapter 3, versus 1 thru 19. The effect of that sin’s cause, verses 14 and 15 said it all.

We must learn to see and accept God’s words spiritually as well as physically. As for me, I will always remember the prayer of Jabez. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that thou wouldst bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested” (1 Chronicles 4:10).
