It was my pleasure being raised in New York, a state that fully educates and does its best to protect the people. As a young teenager, my wonderful mother, Milagros Crespo, educated me and allowed me to help her babysit children and toddlers of the Salvation Army in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Many times that experience made me feel like I was the day-care provider myself and enjoy these kids from the African American and different Hispanic cultures. I always enjoyed teaching and helping others how to become responsible human beings in this world as a secondary substitute teacher in New York high schools and will continue to do so as long as I live.
