It used to be that when you pressed the “Reset” button on a video game console a "Loading..." screen would appear along with a progress bar indicating 1-100%. This book is based on my own Reset. I experienced a mental and physical breakdown and Reset discusses its affects on my life including times of dark depression, panic attacks and debilitating anxiety. It is the story of my Breakdown journey and the experiences I've had in pursuit of Hope and Healing.

Accompanying my own story in Reset are the stories of 18 other people who share their stories of burnout, breakdown and other forms of suffering, and most importantly, how they have found (or are beginning to find) Hope, Healing, Redemption and Rescue in their own personal life-journeys. For those of you who are suffering this book was written to tell you that you are NOT alone. Maybe by reading our journeys you can begin to find the path to Hope and Healing in yours.

About the Author: Often introduced as an expert on media influences, Brett Ullman travels North America speaking to adolescents, leaders and their parents on topics including sexuality, substance abuse, self-injury and mental health. Driven by a desire to discuss, explore and share the Christian reality of living in a media-saturated world, Brett's seminars engage and challenge attendees through high-impact, technology-driven presentations. Participants are inspired to reflect on what we know, what we believe and how our Ancient Faith ought to serve as the lens through which we view and engage modern culture.

Husband to Dawn, and father of Bennett and Zoe, Brett and his family make their home in Ajax, Ontario where Brett leads and directs Worlds Apart, a charity focused on empowering individuals to re-align their lives with Biblical core values often muddled by media but central to Christian living. Brett and his family live in Ajax, Ontario, Canada and attend C4 Church in Ajax.
