Police officer Donald Smart in the homicide squad is due for his yearly vacation in only three days when his boss Chief Lang gives him another homicide to lock after. Lang said if you need help take any of the other guys. Okay, answered Donald and walked back to his own office. Reading through the material he thought there was something similar to a few cases down in the cold case file. Putting the thoughts in front of his boss, he agreed and had those three cases brought to Donald's office. The same afternoon he had promised his wife Linda to see a painting exhibition downtown. Coming down to this exhibition by artist James Black, one of the paintings was a copy of a photo from one of the homicide cases. When he told his wife about the painting, she answered. Mrs. Jones three houses down from us, has a son, Ray that does very nice paintings. Would you be interested in having a look at his paintings? Sure babe, if he is a good artist, he might be able to sell what he paints. The following day, Donald knocks at Mrs. Jones door, and explains that my wife Linda told me that your son Ray likes to paint. Looking at all the painting Ray had done at home, some even better than artist James Black. Telling Ray about the full value of what he had created, Ray told Donald that his girlfriend Lory Hansen had told him he was wasting his time painting. Help me selling drugs instead it'll give us much more money. Getting permission to contact this Lory Hansen, it turned out that all the DNA and the crime scene investigation were against her, and she was without any doubt the killer of four citizens.
