The Stray Little Sock is a heart-warming illustration of a stray little sock who didnt know where he was, who he was, who he belonged to, or what his purpose was. He learned through his new friends that everyone has a purpose and that everyone can be found. It doesnt matter what you look like, where youre from, or what youve done. God says in John 3:16 that He loved us so much that He sent His only son so that WHOEVER believes in Him shall be saved. God wants us all to belong to him and for us to help others be found, too. Sometimes we will make mistakes and stray from God but He will always be there to clean us up and put us back where we belong. The Bible tells us that we are His hands and His feet. Every little sock in this world is important to him. It is Mrs. Prisk's prayer that children and parents alike might discover through this story and the discussion prompts what it means to be saved.

All proceeds from the sale of this book benefit Southwest Christian Care ministries in honor of Mrs. Prisk's mother who was a hospice patient there. To learn about helping their hospice, childrens respite, and senior care ministries, visit www.swchristiancare.org.

In this power-packed, fun story, J. Smith Prisk creates a wonderful family discussion starter. I encourage all families to read this book together.
