Milkshake! Freaking milkshake everywhere! The ground was literally covered in flavored snow, playing tricks on the mind. At his feet lay a toy, half eaten it would seem, possibly by a polar bear or wolf, if they dared to exist in this extreme cold condition. Was he meant to pick it up and claim it as his own?

Winton closed the window shutter and stood up. Somehow he felt revitalized from the nap, even though it seemed short and sweet. It was over too soon, he thought. He headed towards the battered old wooden-cabin door and reached out for the knob.

What would you suppose was happening to Winton and Catherine Chinka? Were they experiencing a common isomorphic event?

This is the second book in the Winton series. The plot revolves around disaster and boasts and touch of psycho, and it is therefore suitable only for older children, teens and adults.
