锁肛痔是指发生在肛门直肠的恶性肿瘤。本病在病的后期因肛门狭窄，犹如锁住肛门一样，故中医称锁肛痔，本病多由忧思抑郁，以致气滞血淤，湿热蕴结，乘虚下注；或由嗜酒、久泻、久痢等因诱发。锁肛痔的治疗原则是一旦被确诊为癌必须及早手术。内治宜和营活血、清热解毒、调补气血。本病属西医学中直肠癌范畴。
