Hans Christian Andersen became famous after publishing his fantastic novel in 1829. In the following years he established 3 compilations of tales. Many children and adults passed through the world of his books. This story was written in 1862. There was one shilling. He was made of silver and contained some copper. He was happy that he went out into the world. The shilling travelled around the country, but one day he belonged to a gentleman who was travelled in foreign lands. The shilling had travelled a long distance in the purse, he didn't know where he was, but he tried to guess, that he was in Italy or France. But one day the shilling wanted to look at the new world and escaped from the purse. He fell on a floor and his real adventures started. What the destiny waited for him?
