Order
“As it is written: can two walk together except they be agreed (Amos 3:3)? The process of agreeing with God on all points of his word is the transformational process we ought to commit to when we become Christians.”
Blowing the trumpet
“The sound of a trumpet does not only sound for preparation, or impartation, or declaration, but also call people to gather together for the purpose moving on in the wilderness. This could stand for spiritual development. When the word of God is proclaimed, the result should be for people to move closer to the full experience of the Promised Land in their lives.”
God’s word
“The spoken word and the letter of the word are merely means for us to connect with the eternal dimension of God in real-time.”
Light, life and love in the Word
“Love does not only call us away from the wrong path, but it also calls us to come up higher, to go deeper in God and to be more immersed in him, become one with him. That is the best for us, and God seeks the best.”
The discipline of listening
“We need to change what we allow to define our joy. We should allow the Holy Spirit to infuse us with joy at all time and in all seasons and conditions. When that prevails in us, we draw on the resources of salvation one of which is hearing from God. As it is written: as many as are led by the Holy Spirit, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).”
Bread and sword
“The word of God in this piece has been associated with bread for spiritual growth, with sword for spiritual domination, and with shield for spiritual protection. And the three were linked to faith which is the generator for grace and when we apply the grace we have in any area we would experience growth in maturity, in domination and in the shield of faith, so much that others can be covered with our shield.”
