Atlas Shrugged is a novel by Ayn Rand that was published in 1957. The moral of the story is that Politicians usually over-respond to a crisis. They go 5 times too far in response so that they can show the voters that they did something big. They spawn new government programs, laws and regulations. These generate more havoc and poverty, which inspires the politicians to create even more programs.

That book is fiction.
This book is reality. I believe that Atlas has shrugged and businesses have revolted against the average person and The Federal Govt.

Businesses have a record 2 Trillion in CASH yet they are not hiring, remodeling, buying new equipment... they are holding the money waiting.

I give you news articles, interviews and quotes that show why Atlas shrugged.

I am going to explain which Federal laws and regulations led to this Industrial revolt. I believe that these laws and regulations accidentally caused this revolt.

These laws and regulations were passed by BOTH Democrats and Republicans and signed into law by both Republican and Democratic Presidents. These laws and regulations are passed to show that the congressman or Senator cares. They pass BIG bills to get on the news and help get reelected. It was not politics but lack of vision that caused this problem.
